Police Say Firing at Cricketer Naseem Shah’s House Likely Linked to Land Dispute

Police have registered a case after unknown assailants opened fire at the house of Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah in Lower Dir. According to officials, the incident does not appear to be terrorism-related, but rather the result of a land dispute or local rivalry.
Police stated that evidence has been collected, and the investigation is underway from all angles. The District Police Officer (DPO) met Naseem Shah’s father and assured prompt action to arrest the culprits.
The fast bowler was not at home when the incident took place, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.
In his statement, Naseem Shah’s father said that their family has no enmity or ongoing disputes with anyone. The suspects fled the scene immediately after the firing.

In Lower Dir, there was a shocking incident of firing at Naseem Shah’s room, the fast bowler of Pakistan’s national cricket team. According to police, the main gate, windows, and a vehicle at the residence were partially damaged. Following the incident, a case has been registered, and investigations are underway.
Police reported that security in the area was immediately increased after the firing. Officers remain on the scene to prevent further damage and ensure safety.

Five suspects have been taken into custody for questioning regarding the incident. Police are collecting more evidence and trying to identify the exact circumstances of the attack.
Authorities have urged the public to report any suspicious activity immediately to help prevent similar incidents in the future. The police are committed to taking strict action against the responsible individuals.
