Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has called for political solutions to Balochistan’s issues. Speaking at a news conference in Karachi, he stressed that local people must benefit from any decisions. He said problems in Balochistan cannot be solved by force. Instead, they need dialogue and political understanding. Bilawal emphasized that ignoring local needs only fuels unrest in the province.

He also spoke about banned groups allegedly siding with India during recent tensions. Bilawal claimed that these groups supported Pakistan’s enemy during the conflict. He said the government is working to dismantle the Indian-linked network. According to him, internal threats must be dealt with urgently. He urged authorities to remain alert to both foreign and domestic dangers.

Turning to the floods in Punjab, Bilawal demanded relief for affected families. He suggested using the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) to help flood victims. He questioned why this support had not been provided yet. The PPP leader urged the federal government to rethink its current policies. He also called on the government to seek aid from the international community.

Bilawal also highlighted the ongoing issues faced by Karachi. He mentioned poor coordination between the provincial and federal institutions. He complained about newly built roads being damaged soon after construction. He promised to ask the Sindh Chief Minister to raise these problems at the federal level. Bilawal said solving Karachi’s issues requires joint efforts.

Finally, he announced upcoming support for Sindh’s farmers. He said the Sindh government would soon launch an agricultural package. This package will aim to support farmers recovering from recent challenges. Bilawal concluded by promising continued focus on rural development. He said farmers are the backbone of the province’s economy.
