PSL 11: Lahore Qalandars Eliminated as Hyderabad Kings Qualify

In PSL 11, Lahore Qalandars were eliminated as Hyderabad Kings qualified for the playoffs after a dominant win. The match took place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. Hyderabad delivered a strong performance to secure their place in the next stage.

After winning the toss, Rawalpindi chose to field first. Hyderabad Kings batted aggressively and scored 244 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Their batting lineup showed excellent form and put heavy pressure on the opposition.

Glenn Maxwell led the charge with a quick 70 runs off 37 balls. In addition, Usman Khan scored 54 runs, while Kusal Perera added 50 runs. Their combined effort helped Hyderabad set a massive target of 245 runs.

In response, Rawalpindi struggled during the chase and were bowled out for 136 runs in 17.1 overs. Usman Khawaja remained unbeaten with 66 runs, but he lacked support from other players. Meanwhile, Hunain Shah took four wickets, and Akif Javed claimed three wickets.

Hyderabad needed to restrict Rawalpindi below 158 runs to qualify, and they achieved it comfortably. As a result, Hyderabad Kings qualified secured a playoff spot, while Lahore Qalandars were knocked out. Overall, PSL 11 saw Lahore Qalandars eliminated as Hyderabad Kings qualify for playoffs.
