PSL 11 Set to Start March 26, New Teams

The eleventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) will start on March 26. The announcement was made during a meeting of the PSL Governing Council at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.

Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi chaired the meeting, which included representatives from all eight PSL franchises. The meeting also involved PCB and PSL officials.

The meeting began with a warm welcome for the new team owners from Sialkot and Hyderabad, joining the HBL PSL family.

Participants congratulated the PCB and the HBL PSL team for the successful New Teams Auction. This marks a significant milestone in the league’s growth and evolution.

Discussions were held on several key matters, including the schedule for PSL 11, player retentions, and the unique “drauction” format. The possibility of direct signings was also reviewed.

A working group was formed to further deliberate on these agenda items. The Governing Council meeting will be reconvened as needed for further decisions.

The PSL continues to evolve, and fans can look forward to an exciting tournament with new teams and unique changes.
