Ramiz Raja Reveals Imran Khan Suggested Fakhar Zaman as Opener

Former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja has shared an interesting story about Imran Khan’s advice on team selection.
Raja said Imran once called him and suggested that Fakhar Zaman should open the innings while another player should be moved to number three.
According to Ramiz, he replied that building a stable opening pair takes a lot of effort, so frequent changes are not ideal. Imran Khan then understood his point and agreed with the reasoning.
Ramiz Raja further revealed that after this discussion, he never received another call from Imran Khan regarding cricket matters.
