Seema Haider’s residence in India is in danger!

New Delhi: The Indian government’s recent directive asking Pakistani nationals residing in India to leave the country has brought renewed focus on the high-profile case of Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman who entered India illegally in 2023.
Seema crossed into India via Nepal to join her Indian partner, with whom she now lives in Uttar Pradesh along with their children. Her story gained national media attention last year due to the unusual cross-border romance and her bold move to settle in India despite legal hurdles.
With her application for Indian citizenship still pending, the latest government order has raised fresh questions about her future. Authorities have not yet clarified whether Seema will be directly affected by the new directive or if her case will be handled separately.
