SSGC Announces No Gas Load Shedding in Sindh During Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays

KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced that there will be no gas load shedding in Sindh, including Karachi, during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, providing much-needed relief to residents.

According to an official statement, gas supply will remain uninterrupted from the night before Eid (Chand Raat) until the third day of Eid, ensuring that citizens can celebrate the festival without any disruption to their gas services.

The announcement comes as a welcome development for Karachiites and other residents of Sindh, who rely on uninterrupted gas supply for cooking and other household needs during the festive period.

Meanwhile, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene a crucial meeting on Sunday (today), the 29th of Ramadan 1446 AH, at 6:00 PM to sight the moon of Shawwal and announce the official date for Eid-ul-Fitr. The meeting, chaired by Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad, will take place on the rooftop of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in Islamabad.
