Peshawar: This morning, three suicide attackers targeted the Frontier Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar, resulting in the death of three FC personnel and several others injured.
Attack Details
The attack on the FC Headquarters in Peshawar began when a suicide bomber detonated at the gate, followed by two other attackers entering the premises and opening fire. Security forces responded swiftly, killing both attackers inside the building. Authorities recovered two suicide jackets and eight hand grenades from the assailants. According to officials, the attack was well-planned, but it was successfully foiled due to the prompt and decisive action of the security personnel. Initial reports indicate that the attackers were from Afghanistan.
