Two Robbers Killed in Police Encounter, Woman Among Two Injured

In Karachi’s Liaquatabad area, a police encounter between Shahin Force and armed robbers resulted in the death of two suspects. During the exchange of fire, a woman and a man were injured and later taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to police officials, a citizen informed officers at a checkpoint that some robbers were looting people near Nazimabad underpass. Shahin Force quickly responded and confronted the suspects. One robber was killed on the spot, while the other fled in an injured state but later died from his wounds.

Police recovered two pistols, a motorcycle, some cash, and two mobile phones from the deceased robbers. Their identities are not yet confirmed, and authorities are using the Talaash app to help with identification. The bodies were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal procedures.
SHO Farukh Hashmi from Super Market Police Station confirmed the encounter happened near Aram Bakery in Liaquatabad, which falls under Gulbahar Police Station’s jurisdiction. He added that the recovered items may be stolen property and further investigation is underway.

According to Chhipa rescue officials, the injured include a 55-year-old woman named Rasheeda and a 35-year-old man named Salman. The woman was in a rickshaw and the man was riding a motorcycle when they were caught in the crossfire. Both sustained minor injuries, and police are recording their statements for more details.
