16 Pakistani YouTube channels including Muneeb Farooq banned in India!

India has once again stifled freedom of expression by blocking the YouTube channel of senior Pakistani anchorperson Muneeb Farooq across the country. According to Indian media reports, the Ministry of Home Affairs, on its recommendation, has imposed a ban on 16 Pakistani YouTube channels.

Indian authorities have accused these channels of spreading misinformation and promoting false narratives following the Pahalgam incident. Collectively, these channels have an estimated subscriber base of around 63 million.

This move stands in stark contrast to India’s claims of being a democracy that upholds freedom of speech. While India continues to suppress the rights of minorities within its borders, it is now also silencing international voices critical of its policies.
