Sounds of gunfire and explosions, sirens blaring in Lahore

Loud gunfire and explosion sounds were heard early this morning in Lahore’s Walton and Burki Road areas. Sirens echoed across the neighbourhoods, prompting residents to rush out of their homes in panic. Rescue teams and fire brigades quickly arrived at the scene.

Earlier today, a hostile Indian drone was shot down in Walton. In a separate incident, another drone reportedly crashed near the Food Street area in Rawalpindi.

Authorities are currently investigating the situation. No casualties have been confirmed so far.
