Match Officials Announced for Pakistan–South Africa Series

LAHORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the upcoming Pakistan–South Africa series, which includes Test, ODI, and T20I matches to be played in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad.

According to the schedule, Ranjan Madugalle has been appointed as the match referee for the entire series.

The first Test match will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, from October 12 to 16, with Rodney Tucker and Christopher Brown serving as on-field umpires.

The second Test will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20 to 24, where Christopher Brown and Saikat Sharfuddoula will officiate as on-field umpires.

In the T20 International series,

  • The first and second T20Is will feature Muhammad Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz as on-field umpires,

  • while the third T20I will have Rashid Riaz and Faisal Khan Afridi performing the on-field duties.

For the ODI series, all three matches will be played at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

  • In the first ODI, Saikat Sharfuddoula and Asif Yaqoob will be the umpires,

  • Alex Wharf and Ahsan Raza will officiate the second ODI,

  • while Saikat Sharfuddoula and Faisal Khan Afridi will stand as on-field umpires in the third ODI.

The upcoming series between Pakistan and South Africa is expected to attract strong fan interest, marking an exciting home season for Pakistan cricket.
