Saudi Defense Minister Meets Top U.S. Officials Ahead of Crown Prince’s Washington Visit

Washington: Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman held a meeting at the White House with senior American officials, including U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
During the talks, both sides discussed the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States, focusing on the strategic partnership and cooperation across various fields.
The meeting also covered the latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest and the ongoing efforts to address them.

This high-level meeting took place ahead of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s official visit to Washington, scheduled for November 18.
It is expected that during his visit, the Crown Prince will meet U.S. President Donald Trump, with discussions likely to include defense and technology cooperation, particularly in the semiconductor sector.
Observers note that U.S.–Saudi ties have strengthened significantly in recent months, signaling deeper collaboration between the two nations.
