Pakistan Defeats Bangladesh 8-2 in Hockey World Cup Qualifiers Series

In the Hockey World Cup Qualifiers Series, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 8-2 in the first match held in Dhaka. The Green Shirts showed great performance and took full control of the game from the beginning. This strong win gave Pakistan a clear advantage in the three-match series.

The series is being played to decide which team will qualify for the upcoming Hockey World Cup. Pakistan started the match with confidence and dominated throughout all four quarters, keeping Bangladesh under pressure.

For Pakistan, Ahmad Nadeem and Afraz scored two goals each, while captain Imad Butt, Ghazanfar Ali, Rana Waheed Ashraf, and Hannan Shahid scored one goal each. The team’s coordinated play and strong defense made it difficult for Bangladesh to recover.

Bangladesh’s goals were scored by Huzaifa and Ameerul Islam. Despite their efforts, the hosts couldn’t stop Pakistan’s attacking rhythm and quick passing game.

The second match of the Pakistan vs Bangladesh series will be played on November 14, and the final match on November 16. The winner of this three-match Hockey World Cup Qualifiers Series will advance to the next round of the World Cup qualification stage.
