Canadian-born Indian actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has broken her silence over her controversial song in Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film KD: The Devil. The song, titled “Sarke Chunnar Teri Sarke”, was released on YouTube and immediately faced backlash due to its bold visuals and lyrics. Social media users also criticized Fatehi, which prompted her to respond publicly, highlighting the issue of Nora Fatehi controversial song.

In a video shared on her Instagram, Nora explained that the song was filmed three years ago and is originally from a Kannada-language movie. She stated that she was not fluent in Kannada, and when the director explained the song, she did not find the lyrics inappropriate. However, the controversy arose after the song was translated into Hindi, without her knowledge or permission.

Fatehi also raised concerns about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to create images of her alongside Sanjay Dutt, saying that these were made without her consent. She emphasized that she does not support the inappropriate portrayal of content and opposes the unauthorized use of her likeness.

The dancer further clarified in her post caption that she is grateful for the criticism and wants fans to understand that she does not endorse the controversial content. She urged people not to share the song further, as some individuals were using the situation to defame her. Fatehi mentioned that she and her team will be more cautious in future projects to avoid similar issues.

Legal complaints were also filed by advocate Vineet Jindal with the Central Board of Film Certification, claiming that some lyrics were clearly objectionable and inappropriate for public viewing, with explicit content shown in the video.
