Iranian president praises Pakistan’s peace efforts

Masoud Pezeshkian has praised Pakistan for its effective and responsible role in efforts to prevent conflict, highlighting Islamabad’s contribution to maintaining regional stability.

In a recent statement, the Iranian president commended Pakistan’s diplomatic approach, describing it as constructive and commendable in reducing tensions. He emphasised that Iran seeks peace, stability, and stronger brotherly relations within the region, and values cooperation among neighbouring countries.

Pezeshkian also expressed distrust toward United States, stating that repeated breaches of commitments have undermined confidence among the Iranian people. He stressed that Iran’s rights must be respected in accordance with international laws and principles, urging the global community to uphold justice and fairness.

According to Pezeshkian, collective action and solidarity among Muslim nations are essential to counter emerging threats and maintain balance.

Highlighting the importance of regional autonomy, he reiterated that security in the region should be ensured by the countries within it, rather than external powers. He called for stronger collaboration and mutual understanding among neighboring states to safeguard peace and stability.
