In Islamabad, authorities are continuing a strict anti-encroachment campaign aimed at removing illegal constructions and restoring state-owned land across the federal capital.

The operation is being conducted under the supervision of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who reaffirmed that the drive is being carried out without any discrimination, pressure, or influence from any institution or individual.

As part of the ongoing operation, a Frontier Constabulary (FC) camp office located on the green belt near Marriott Hotel and Ayyub Chowk was demolished. Officials confirmed that the structure was built on illegally occupied government land and was removed during the latest phase of the campaign.

Mohsin Naqvi stated that the government’s policy is based on zero tolerance towards encroachments and illegal occupations. He emphasized that no public or private organization will be allowed to construct or retain structures on state land.

He further clarified that while the FC camp office has been removed, a suitable legal alternative site will be provided to ensure that operational requirements of the concerned department are not affected.

Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) also attended the operation and supervised the demolition process on site.

Officials said the broader objective of the campaign is to restore the original urban structure of Islamabad and eliminate all illegal constructions, regardless of status or influence.

The authorities warned that similar operations will continue in other parts of the city in the coming days as part of a sustained effort to enforce planning regulations and protect public land.

Government representatives reiterated their commitment to transparency, equal enforcement of laws, and the removal of all unlawful encroachments from federal territory.
