After PSL Retirement, Shoaib Malik Performs Umrah

Ahead of Ramazan 2026, several celebrities have visited the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah to perform Umrah. Fans have shared updates of the spiritual journeys across social media. The pilgrimages aim to connect with faith and seek blessings before the holy month begins.

Shoaib Malik also traveled to Saudi Arabia to undertake the pilgrimage. The 43-year-old cricketer shared a photograph of himself with the Kaaba in the background. He wrote, “May every Muslim get to experience this feeling. Ameen!”

This spiritual journey comes shortly after Malik retired from the Pakistan Super League. He played ten successful seasons in the tournament. His retirement marks the end of an era in Pakistan’s T20 cricket.
