Bilawal Bhutto Warns India Tensions Could Trigger Another Regional Conflict

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said India was funding militant organizations involved in terrorism inside Pakistan. He warned that ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India could lead to another conflict at any time. Therefore, he stressed the need for serious diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation in the region.

During an interview with a French television channel, Bilawal Bhutto said both countries should choose dialogue over confrontation. He explained that peace could only be achieved through communication and cooperation. Moreover, he stated that terrorism was not only Pakistan’s problem but also a major challenge for India.

Bilawal Bhutto claimed that regional instability continued to increase because of unresolved disputes and mutual mistrust. However, he emphasized that military confrontation would not benefit either side. Instead, he urged both neighboring countries to work together for long-term peace and regional stability.

While discussing the Strait of Hormuz, Bilawal Bhutto said there was no military solution to the issue. He warned that renewed tensions between Iran and the United States could create serious international consequences. Furthermore, he said the effects of such a conflict would spread far beyond the Middle East.

He also cautioned that any renewed Iran-US confrontation could disrupt global trade and energy supplies. According to him, the international community would eventually face the economic and political impact of another regional crisis. Consequently, he called for diplomatic engagement to avoid further instability.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari concluded that regional peace depended on dialogue, restraint, and international cooperation. At the same time, he repeated his warning that rising India tensions could trigger another dangerous conflict if ignored. Therefore, he urged world powers to support peaceful solutions before the situation becomes more serious.
