Bilawal Urges Government to Declare Agricultural Emergency

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has once again called on the government to impose an agricultural emergency to support struggling farmers.
While speaking with flood victims in Thatha Sial, Muzaffargarh, Bilawal emphasized the urgent need to waive electricity bills for farmers and ensure the uninterrupted supply of seeds and fertilizers.
He stressed that this is not the time for political point-scoring or dividing people based on their backgrounds. “In times of hardship, it is our collective responsibility to stand with the people,” he remarked.
Bilawal also proposed launching an appeal for aid to assist those affected by the floods. He underscored that the federal government must collaborate closely with provincial authorities to provide effective relief efforts.
Highlighting the importance of transparency and efficient distribution, he identified the Benazir Income Support Program as the most reliable channel to reach deserving flood victims.
