China Condemns Balochistan Attacks, Supports Pakistan Fully

ISLAMABAD – Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan and expressed China’s full solidarity with Pakistan. He met with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi at the Ministry of Interior on Thursday. The meeting was also attended by Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry, Interior Secretary, Special Secretary, and senior officials from the Chinese embassy.
Ambassador Jiang strongly criticized the attacks targeting civilians and security forces. He expressed condolences to the affected families and reiterated China’s firm stance against terrorism. He emphasized that China stands alongside Pakistan in its fight against all forms of terrorism.
Minister Mohsin Naqvi briefed the ambassador on the coordinated nature of the attacks. He highlighted the timely and effective response of Pakistan’s security forces. Naqvi also assured China that all measures are being taken to protect Chinese citizens and projects in the region.

The interior minister said safeguarding Chinese nationals and projects is a top priority. He added that no adversary can harm the strong friendship between Pakistan and China. As a precaution, a Special Protection Unit is being established to ensure Chinese security.
Both sides discussed modern Chinese technology and equipment in counter-terrorism efforts. They exchanged views on intelligence sharing, cybercrime, and internal security. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen Pakistan-China strategic cooperation. Ambassador Jiang thanked Pakistan for protecting Chinese nationals, while Minister Naqvi appreciated China’s continued support.
