Christian Community Celebrates Easter with Joy and Faith

Christians in Pakistan are joyfully celebrating Easter Sunday with religious devotion. Special church services were held from 9am to 12pm to remember the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

On Saturday night, many families visited markets in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, like Saddar, Gakkhar Plaza, Murree Road, and Jinnah Super, to buy clothes, shoes, and accessories for the occasion.

Parks and fun spots will stay open from 9am to 1am on both Sunday and Monday. Families can enjoy rides, boating, horse riding, and the chairlift at Patriata.

Strict security is in place at churches, with CCTV cameras and walk-through gates. Community leaders Rashid Chauhan and Pastor Asif thanked the government and police for keeping things safe and peaceful.
