CSS 2024 Final Result with Merit List Announced

ISLAMABAD: The CSS 2024 final result with merit list and schedule for CSS 2026 has been officially released by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), revealing a staggering drop in success rate. According to FPSC, only 229 candidates out of 15,602 applicants managed to qualify, underscoring the intense competitiveness and prestige associated with the Civil Superior Services (CSS) examination in Pakistan.
This year’s success rate stands at a mere 1.47%, making it one of the most selective exams in South Asia. The breakdown includes 119 male and 110 female candidates among the successful ones.

The FPSC has directed all 229 recommended candidates to contact the Section Officer (T‑V) of the Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad for further appointment formalities.
🗓️ CSS 2026 Schedule & New Age Policy
In a significant update, FPSC also announced the CSS 2026 schedule along with a key policy reform. The age limit for CSS has been raised from 30 to 35 years, effective from 2026 onwards — a decision passed by the National Assembly to accommodate late starters and professionals.
