Eid-al-Adha Holidays Announced in UAE, Qatar, and Bangladesh

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has officially announced four days of public holidays for Eid al-Adha 2025, according to the country’s Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

As per reports from Arab media, the Eid holidays in the UAE will run from Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8, corresponding to the 9th to 12th Dhul Hijjah. Government offices will resume operations from Monday, June 9.

Meanwhile, Qatar has already declared a five-day public holiday for Eid, covering the Day of Arafah and the following days of celebration.

In an even more generous move, the Bangladeshi government has announced a 10-day public holiday for Eid-ul-Adha.
The announcement was made by the Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary, Shafiq Al-Alam, via his official Facebook account, stating that the national cabinet approved the decision.

In Saudi Arabia, the Day of Arafah will fall on Thursday, June 5, while Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on Friday, June 6.
