Flight Delays Hit Peshawar Airport Due to Bad Weather

Adverse weather conditions disrupted flight operations at Peshawar Airport on Thursday, causing delays to at least 42 flights.
Aviation sources reported that two Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah were diverted to Islamabad. Poor visibility forced the diversions.
Qatar Airways flights QR-600 and QR-601 from Doha to Peshawar faced delays of up to 12 hours. Similarly, Etihad Airways flights EY-276 and EY-277 from Abu Dhabi were delayed by seven hours.
Flights from Sharjah and Dubai also experienced delays ranging from one to two hours. Domestic flights from Islamabad were affected, with 18 flights delayed by one to three hours.

Other airports across the country reported disruptions. Lahore and Karachi recorded five delayed flights each, while Faisalabad had four and Multan two.
Airlines advised passengers to stay in close contact with their respective carriers for updated flight schedules. Delays are expected to continue as weather conditions persist.
Authorities are monitoring the situation closely and coordinating with airports to minimize disruption. Passengers are urged to plan accordingly and remain patient.
