Foreign ministers meeting demands Iran stop Gulf attacks immediately
A meeting of regional foreign ministers, hosted by Saudi Arabia, condemned Iran’s recent attacks. They called on Tehran to immediately stop its aggression. The ministers stressed the need for regional peace and stability.
Representatives from Azerbaijan, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Pakistan, Turkey, Syria, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Egypt attended. They unanimously supported strong action against violations of sovereignty.
In a statement, the Saudi Arabia Foreign Ministry said the ministers “strongly condemned Iranian attacks using missiles and drones.” They called the strikes a clear violation of international law. They held Iran fully responsible for all losses caused by these attacks.
The ministers demanded Iran to immediately and unconditionally cease aggression. They urged Tehran to comply with UN Security Council resolutions. They emphasized that attacks on neighboring countries cannot be justified. The ministers also reaffirmed the right of states to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter.

they called on Iran to respect international law and principles of good neighborliness. They said this is necessary to de-escalate tensions and restore regional stability. They warned that Iran’s future relations with neighbors depend on respecting sovereignty and refraining from threats.
The statement also urged Iran to comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026). Ministers called on Tehran to halt all attacks immediately. They warned against actions threatening maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandeb Strait. The ministers also reiterated support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability.
the ministers condemned Israeli attacks on Lebanon and expansionist policies. They agreed to continue consultations and coordinate actions to protect regional security. The meeting occurred amid escalating tensions following the Israel-US joint offensive on Iran that killed around 1,300 people, including former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US forces.
