Islamabad: Funeral prayers for 7-year-old Irtaza Abbas, who was martyred in a recent unprovoked Indian attack, were held in Islamabad on Wednesday.

According to ISPR, the funeral was attended by the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, federal ministers, Army Chief General Asim Munir, and the Naval Chief.

On this eve, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned India’s aggression, stating that deliberately targeting innocent children, women, and the elderly is a cowardly and shameful act. He said such actions reflect the hostile mindset of the Indian government and pose a serious threat to regional and global peace.

President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to the armed forces, stating that Pakistan’s brave military is responding with full resolve on all fronts.
