Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan continue to soar following a global uptrend, making the precious metal increasingly unaffordable for the public.
In the international market, the price of gold rose by $10 per ounce, reaching $3,357. This global increase directly impacted the local gold market.
In Pakistan, 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,000 per tola, hitting Rs. 354,100. 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 857, now priced at Rs. 303,583.
Analysts warn that if the international upward trend continues, domestic gold prices may climb even higher, further burdening consumers.
