Legal Notice Issued Against Shehroz Zafar Over Allegations Against Hanif Abbasi

A legal notice has been issued on behalf of Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi against Shehroz Zafar over alleged defamatory content.

According to the notice, Shehroz Zafar is accused of publishing and spreading false, malicious, and defamatory material against the minister on social media and other platforms.

The notice states that Hanif Abbasi is a senior politician, Member of the National Assembly, and a federal minister whose reputation and public trust are protected under constitutional and legal provisions.

It further claims that a coordinated campaign was launched to damage his personal and political image through baseless allegations.

The legal notice highlights that such actions fall under offenses defined in the Pakistan Penal Code 1860 and the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act.

Authorities allege that the accused individual engaged in spreading fabricated claims and misinformation.

Meanwhile, upon a complaint filed by Hanif Abbasi, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency has also taken action and issued a notice to Shehroz Zafar, summoning him in a personal capacity.
