Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha Will Not Back Down

Human rights lawyer Iman Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali Chatha have declared that they will not back down from their stance despite legal challenges. According to court updates and media statements, Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha stance remains firm even in the face of potential imprisonment.
Iman Mazari told the media that she has always stood by her principles and will not compromise on her beliefs. She emphasized that her actions are guided by the supremacy of the constitution and law, and she has no regrets or remorse for speaking out.
Hadi Ali Chatha stated that he has surrendered himself to the leadership of the Bar Council and Bar Associations and will remain under their supervision. He added that any authorities wishing to take legal action can do so in the presence of these legal bodies.

The Islamabad High Court, in a written decision regarding the controversial tweet case, declared the trial court’s previous arrest order null and void. The court clarified that Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha should not be arrested in the ongoing case.
According to the decision, both Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha have been granted four days to appear before the trial court for witness examination. If they fail to appear, the order will be considered void, reaffirming that Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha stance remains resolute and protected by the court’s ruling.
