Indian Singer honours Nazia Hassan in London

Renowned Indian pop icon Alisha Chinai paid a heartfelt tribute to Pakistan’s legendary singer Nazia Hassan by performing her iconic hit song ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ during a live concert in London.
The song ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ was originally sung by Nazia Hassan for the Bollywood film Qurbani (1980), directed by Feroz Khan. This track not only became a massive hit but also marked Nazia’s debut in playback singing at the age of just 15. Her soulful voice and the song’s unique disco vibe took the music world by storm. For her exceptional performance, Nazia Hassan was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 1981, making her the youngest recipient of this prestigious award at the time.
