India’s Cyber Attacks on Pakistan’s Ministries Foiled by IT Experts

Islamabad: Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, India attempted cyberattacks on several Pakistani ministry websites. However, Pakistani IT experts successfully stopped these attacks and prevented any data breaches.
Federal Minister for IT, Shaza Fatima, confirmed that Indian hackers failed to access any websites or data. She assured that the attacks had no impact on telecommunications services and that the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) has strong security measures in place.
Pakistan has set up Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) at both national and provincial levels to protect against cyber threats. The minister also praised Pakistani youth for using memes to humorously cope with the ongoing tensions.
Fatima emphasised that Pakistan has always called for peace and is not afraid of any threats. She also condemned the Pahalgam incident and reminded that Pakistan itself has suffered from terrorism.
