Influencers Paid $7,000 Per Post by Israel

Facing mounting international criticism over the ongoing Gaza offensive, Israel has begun recruiting American social media influencers to promote pro-Israel content.

According to media reports, the Israeli government is paying influencers up to $7,000 per post to share favorable material online.

Documents under the US Foreign Agents Registration Act revealed that the funding is being directed through the Havas Media Group. Out of an initial $900,000 budget, half is allocated to recruiting and training US influencers.

It has also emerged that Israel is paying former Trump digital strategist Brad Parscale $1.5 million per month to generate thousands of pro-Israel messages using artificial intelligence.

Last week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with a group of American influencers in New York. When asked how Israel plans to restore its declining global support, Netanyahu responded:
“We have to fight back, and this fight will be led through influencers.”
