Iran President Masoud Pezeshkian Says Iran Seeks Peace, Not War

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian statement has reaffirmed that Iran has no intention of initiating conflict with any country.
In his latest remarks, the Iranian president emphasized that the country is exercising its lawful and legitimate right to self-defense in response to external threats.
He stated that Iran’s core policy is based on maintaining peace, stability, and security across the region, and it does not seek to escalate ongoing tensions.

The president also accused opposing forces of targeting civilian infrastructure, including schools and hospitals, while claiming that threats to destroy Iran’s civilization reflect hostile intentions.
