Meanwhile, most parts of Sindh province are expected to remain under hot and dry weather conditions. The Meteorological Department has warned that central and upper regions of Sindh will remain under a heatwave alert until May 3.

Areas including Jamshoro, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Ghotki, and Sanghar are expected to experience temperatures 4 to 6 degrees Celsius above normal. Similarly, Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze, Jacobabad, Larkana, and Sukkur are also likely to remain under intense heatwave conditions.

Officials further said that a western weather system may enter the northwestern parts of the country tonight, which could bring strong winds, dust storms, and thunderstorms in upper and central regions.

In some upper areas of Sindh, dusty winds, gusty conditions, and light rain or drizzle may also occur between today and tomorrow. Due to the western system, heat intensity in Sindh may slightly decrease; however, temperatures are expected to rise again after May 5.
