Maryam Nawaz Highlights Digital Innovation in Meeting with World Liberty Financial

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has emphasised the province’s fast progress in digital technology and online trade.
She made these comments during a meeting with a delegation from World Liberty Financial, an institution supported by former U.S. President Donald Trump. The meeting included discussions on blockchain technology, tokenising Pakistan’s natural resources like minerals and agriculture, and creating stablecoins for safer digital transactions.
The focus was also on improving systems for remittances, financial transactions, and global trade through decentralised finance. Both sides agreed on linking Pakistan’s economy with decentralised finance models to improve transparency and efficiency.
Maryam Nawaz expressed her commitment to making Punjab a leader in digital innovation and shared the province’s progress in digital technology and financial collaboration.
