GUJRANWALA: Authorities have registered another case against Farhat Shahzadi in a government land scandal. The case involves illegal sale of plots in G Magnolia Housing Society. Officials said this is part of a larger investigation into property fraud. The Gujranwala Development Authority (GDA) is leading the probe.
Along with Farhat Shahzadi, her husband Ahsan Jameel and PML-N MPA Qaiser Iqbal Sandhu have been nominated. GDA officials alleged that Qaiser Iqbal Sandhu acted as a front man. Investigators claim he helped in illegal land sales and construction. Authorities stressed that all involved will face strict legal action.
The FIR states that government land was allegedly occupied through forgery. Parks, graveyards, schools, and public buildings were sold illegally. Some mortgaged plots were also constructed upon. Officials said these actions violate multiple property and land laws. They called it a serious abuse of public trust.

Previously, cases were registered against the society’s owners, developers, directors, and managers. Offices of the accused were sealed to prevent further illegal activity. GDA officials said the crackdown will continue. They emphasized that no one involved in the scam will be spared.
Authorities urged the public to report suspicious land transactions. They said such scams harm community development and public welfare. Officials promised strict monitoring of housing societies. Investigations will continue until all illegal land deals are exposed. The GDA reaffirmed its commitment to protect government property.
