The Pakistan military has officially denied rumours circulating on social media claiming that an Indian pilot is in Pakistani custody.

During a recent joint press conference held by the Pakistan Armed Forces, a question was raised regarding the alleged capture of an Indian pilot. Responding to this, Director General ISPR Lt Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry clearly stated, “There is no Indian pilot in Pakistan’s custody.”

He further added, “This is fake news and baseless propaganda being spread through various social media platforms. There is no truth to these claims.”

The DG ISPR urged the public to refrain from believing or sharing unverified information, emphasising the importance of relying on credible news sources.

Senior officials from the Pakistan Air Force and Navy were also present at the briefing, where they addressed recent defence operations and the current security situation in the region.
