No Truth in Reports of Hajj Flights Delay, Says Ministry of Religious Affairs

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has rejected rumors circulating on social media about the suspension of Hajj flights. Officials clarified that there is no delay in Hajj flights, despite concerns about the current tense situation in the Middle East. The ministry stated that preparations for Hajj 2026 are continuing according to the planned schedule and pilgrims should not worry about their travel arrangements.

In an official statement, the ministry said that the news about postponing Hajj flights is false and misleading. Authorities emphasized that all arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims are progressing smoothly and that there has been no official decision to suspend or delay the flights.

The ministry also explained that the process of issuing visas for Hajj pilgrims is ongoing. Along with visas, other important arrangements such as travel management, accommodation, and coordination with Saudi authorities are also being handled as planned.

According to the spokesperson, the official schedule of Hajj flights will be announced after Eid-ul-Fitr. The Ministry of Religious Affairs once again urged the public to avoid believing in unverified social media posts. Officials reassured people that there is no delay in Hajj flights, and the government is working to ensure that all pilgrims can travel smoothly and complete their Hajj journey without any problems.
