Pakistan Exposes India’s Persecution

United Nations: Pakistan has once again exposed India’s systematic persecution of minorities, highlighting the growing Islamophobia and extremist nationalism under the guise of democracy and patriotism.

Addressing a UN session on minority issues, Pakistan’s Counsellor Saima Saleem expressed serious concern over the rising wave of hate-driven policies in India. She said the horrific consequences of extremist ideologies are visible across the country, where minorities continue to face violence, discrimination, and social exclusion.

Saima Saleem emphasized that attacks on places of worship and open calls for genocide have become alarmingly common in India, reflecting a disturbing normalization of hate.

She warned that India’s state-driven extremist policies not only endanger its minorities but also pose a grave threat to regional and international peace and security.

The Pakistani representative called on the international community to take concrete steps and hold India accountable for human rights violations and atrocities committed against its minority communities.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing the Trilateral Summit in Lachin, Azerbaijan, reiterated that Pakistan seeks peace in the region and remains open to dialogue with India — provided New Delhi demonstrates sincerity and cooperation.

Referring to recent Indian aggression, PM Shehbaz said, “With Allah Almighty’s blessings, the support of the people of Pakistan, friendly nations, and the firm resolve of our armed forces, Pakistan has always stood victorious.”
