Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum to begin tomorrow in Islamabad!

ISLAMABAD – The two-day Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum is all set to begin in Islamabad tomorrow, bringing together key government officials, international investors, and industry experts to explore investment opportunities in the country’s mineral sector.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir are scheduled to attend the event and address participants. Their presence reflects the government’s commitment to promoting Pakistan’s untapped mineral resources and strengthening investor confidence.
The forum is expected to draw significant attention from both local and international stakeholders. A high-level delegation from the United States, led by Eric Meyer, will be participating, alongside senior federal ministers, secretaries, and prominent business executives from Pakistan and abroad.
Adding to the international presence, Catherine Marsh, Deputy Director General of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and a delegation from China’s Xi’an Geological Survey Centre have already arrived in Islamabad ahead of the forum.
Throughout the two days, participants will engage in key discussions focusing on investment prospects in major mineral projects, including the highly valuable Reko Diq project. The forum will also highlight the government’s policies and initiatives aimed at boosting growth in the mining sector.
Experts from various fields will share insights and strategies to develop Pakistan’s mining industry, emphasising innovation, sustainable practices, and international partnerships.
