Pakistan Navy fully ready and capable during ‘Maarka-e-Haq’: vice admiral

Pakistan Navy leadership has said that the force successfully safeguarded the country’s maritime interests during what it described as “Maarka-e-Haq,” highlighting operational readiness and deterrence capability at sea.

Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz, who was awarded the Sitara-e-Basalat for his performance during the operation, said that Pakistan Navy remained fully prepared throughout the period and ensured complete protection of national maritime boundaries.

He stated that under the leadership of the Naval Chief, the force demonstrated strong operational planning and combat readiness. According to him, all naval units, including surface ships and submarines, remained deployed at strategic positions, ensuring constant surveillance and defence of Pakistan’s sea lanes.

The vice admiral said that Pakistan’s maritime defence posture during the period reflected both professionalism and preparedness, adding that the presence of naval assets at key locations acted as a strong deterrent against any potential aggression.

He emphasised that Pakistan Navy successfully protected the country’s maritime interests and maintained stability in its assigned areas of responsibility. “Pakistan Navy was fully prepared, and the enemy did not dare to attempt any misadventure,” he said.

The statement also highlighted the importance of maritime security for Pakistan, particularly in safeguarding trade routes and economic lifelines that pass through regional waters.

Military officials say that naval readiness remains a key component of Pakistan’s overall defence strategy, especially given the evolving security dynamics in the region and the strategic importance of sea-based commerce.

The remarks come as part of broader military acknowledgements of operational achievements during recent security situations, underscoring the role of naval forces in maintaining deterrence and protecting national interests at sea.
