At the United Nations, Pakistan’s Consul General Gul Qaiser Sarwani made it clear that Kashmir has never been and will never be a part of India. During his address to the UN Security Council, he emphasized that Pakistan rejects India’s claim on Kashmir, highlighting that the region is internationally recognized as disputed territory.

Responding to statements by the Indian representative, Sarwani said that India has repeatedly engaged in aggression against Pakistan while openly supporting terrorism. He described India’s actions as reflecting the mentality of a “rogue actor,” undermining regional peace and stability.

The Pakistani Consul General cited evidence of terrorist groups operating under Indian support, including Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and the Baloch Liberation Army, which have carried out attacks in Pakistan. These actions, he stated, demonstrate India’s ongoing involvement in cross-border terrorism.

Sarwani also criticized India for violating international law and the UN Charter through repeated acts of aggression. He reiterated Pakistan’s demand that India immediately end its state-sponsored support for terrorism and respect the principles of international law.

Additionally, Sarwani addressed India’s statements regarding the Indus Waters Treaty, calling them a deliberate distortion of facts. He clarified that Pakistan rejects India’s claim on Kashmir and emphasized that the treaty does not allow unilateral suspension or amendment of any provisions.
