Pakistani security forces arrest four terrorists near the Pak-Afghan border

Pakistani security forces successfully arrested four terrorists who infiltrated from Afghanistan during an intelligence-based operation near the Pak-Afghan border in Toba Kakri, Balochistan.
According to security sources, the operation was conducted on Wednesday, leading to the arrest of terrorists carrying Kalashnikovs, hand grenades, and other firearms. The detainees reportedly confessed during interrogation that they had planned a major terrorist attack in Pakistan.
This incident further highlights the ongoing infiltration of terrorists from Afghanistan into Pakistan, security officials stated.
Sources revealed that in recent months, there has been a notable increase in terrorist incidents involving Afghan nationals. Reports suggest that terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan are receiving support and facilitation from the Afghan Taliban.
One of the arrested individuals identified himself as Isamuddin, son of Gulshad, an Afghan national. He admitted that he and his three accomplices entered Pakistan three days ago and travelled to Pishin before being apprehended.
Security officials credited local residents for assisting in the identification and capture of the terrorists. The suspects have been moved to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
Previously, several Afghan terrorists were eliminated by Pakistani forces. Among them was Khakri Badruddin, son of the governor of Afghanistan’s Badghis province, and Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, a commander at the Hazrat Muaz bin Jabal National Military Academy in Afghanistan.
Defence analysts welcomed the growing cooperation between local communities and security forces in combating terrorism. However, they expressed concerns over Afghanistan becoming a safe haven for terrorists and urged the international community to take immediate action.
