Pakistani students return from Iran

Amid unrest in Iran, Pakistani students and pilgrims have started returning home. They are entering Pakistan through the Gwadar route. Authorities confirmed the movement over the past two days.

Meanwhile, officials reported steady arrivals at the Gabad-250 border crossing. More than 100 students and pilgrims have already crossed into Pakistan. Additionally, more arrivals are expected soon.

On Sunday evening, a group of Pakistani students arrived at the border by coaches. They completed immigration procedures without delays. Afterward, they continued their journeys home.

Similarly, Pakistani pilgrims crossed the border on Monday afternoon. Many included women and children. Officials ensured smooth processing at the immigration office.

According to border staff, around 40 pilgrims arrived on Monday. Among them was an 18-member family. Furthermore, officials said more pilgrims were still traveling toward the crossing.

The Federal Investigation Agency confirmed the returns. Senior FIA official Balaach Yaqoob verified the figures. He said another group would arrive Tuesday morning.

Finally, officials said about 50 more students are expected next. These students study at Zanjan University of Medical Sciences. Authorities continue monitoring the situation closely.
