PCB Suspends NOCs of Pakistani Cricketers

Lahore – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended the No Objection Certificates (NOCs) of national cricketers following the team’s defeat in the Asia Cup T20 final against India.
A formal notification regarding the decision was issued by PCB Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed. The suspension came just a day after Pakistan’s loss in the final match.
Earlier, the PCB had granted NOCs to several players for participation in Australia’s Big Bash League. However, the approvals have now been placed on hold.
The decision directly affects top cricketers including Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, and Faheem Ashraf, who were set to feature in foreign leagues.
According to the board, the move is aimed at reassessing player workload and focusing on upcoming international commitments.
