PM, Saudi Crown Prince Agree to Advance Next Phase of Iran-US Peace Agreement

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone conversation and agreed to support the next stage of the Iran-US peace agreement. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the two leaders discussed recent diplomatic developments and emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region.

During the call, the Saudi Crown Prince congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the successful progress of the agreement between Iran and the United States. In return, the Prime Minister congratulated the Crown Prince on the signing of the historic Islamabad Peace Accord and appreciated Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting regional peace efforts.

The statement said that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman praised the efforts of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and acknowledged the hard work of both the Prime Minister and the military leadership. He stated that their continuous efforts played an important role in reaching the peace agreement successfully.

Both leaders agreed to work closely to ensure the successful implementation of the next phase of the agreement. They also stressed the need to remain alert against any attempts to undermine or sabotage the ongoing negotiation process. The leaders emphasized that remaining issues should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the strong support of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries helped make the peace process successful within a few months. He thanked the Crown Prince for his continued support and invited him to visit Pakistan at a convenient time. The two leaders agreed to maintain close cooperation in the coming days to ensure the continued success of the Iran-US peace agreement.
