PM Shehbaz Sharif Meets US Vice President JD Vance in Switzerland

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting with US Vice President JD Vance in Bergunstock, Switzerland, during the ongoing Iran-US negotiations.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir are currently in Switzerland to participate in diplomatic discussions aimed at supporting dialogue between the United States and Iran.

The meeting with the US Vice President was attended by senior American officials, including Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, who accompanied JD Vance as part of the US delegation.

The high-level meeting focused on regional security, diplomatic engagement, and efforts to strengthen communication channels amid sensitive negotiations.

According to sources, the Pakistani leadership discussed matters related to regional peace and stability, emphasizing Pakistan’s constructive role in supporting dialogue and conflict resolution.

Following the meeting with the American delegation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to meet the Iranian delegation to continue diplomatic engagement.

The Iranian delegation is being led by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and includes Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi along with other senior officials involved in the negotiations.
