Sialkot: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared that Pakistan seeks peace but is fully prepared for war, warning that any renewed Indian aggression will be met with an unimaginable response.

Speaking to officers and soldiers at Pasrur Cantonment, the Prime Minister praised the armed forces, stating their sacrifices have humbled the enemy and deserve to be chronicled in history.

Addressing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said: “Stop aggression and start talking about peace. Do not mistake our desire for peace for weakness.”

He further accused India of covert involvement in regional militancy, referencing the 1971 Mukti Bahini and alleged ties between India and BLA and TTP.

In terms of the Indus Waters Treaty, Shehbaz Sharif issued a stern warning: “Water is our red line. There will be no compromise. Blood and water cannot flow together.”

Rejecting India’s claims of air superiority, he said: “The arrogance of Rafale jets has been crushed. India must abandon its dream of regional dominance.”

He added that Pakistan is open to comprehensive dialogue with India, including on Kashmir, but emphasised: “There will be no selective diplomacy. Dialogue must be sincere and all-encompassing.”
