Prime Minister Lands in Qatar for Two-Day Visit

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Qatar on Monday for a two-day official visit. He visited at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The visit reflects strong diplomatic relations between the two nations. Leaders aim to strengthen bilateral ties in multiple sectors. At King Hamad International Airport, Sharif was received by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi. Pakistan’s ambassador to Qatar, Muhammad Amir, and other diplomatic staff were also present. The warm reception signals the importance of this visit. Officials highlighted ongoing cooperation and mutual support between Qatar and Pakistan. The arrival ceremony underscored the friendly relations between the two countries.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by senior officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi are also in the delegation. Their presence ensures comprehensive discussions on bilateral agendas. Together, the team aims to explore cooperation in trade, energy, and infrastructure. High-level dialogue will help identify new partnership opportunities.
